Ok, perhaps that was too broad of a statement... Or maybe it wasn't. Anyway, I really hate you figure customizers because you buy EVERY FIGURE IN THE STORE. Why? One for your collection, and three others to molest with your molding knives and paints, and only ONE of those will turn out as you want, IF THAT. The other 2, or 4 are for all the times you screw up and it's because of YOU the figure sales are down. Why? I'll tell you. The new He-man line is for kids (Accept that). I'm not a kid, I collect them, but I still know it's for kids. Now think back to when you were a child begging your mom for toys in a toy store. You would ask for the hero figure, and a villain for him to fight. But since all you losers already bought the villains, the kids don't bother asking! Because you get all the good supporting cast members and leave the he-man skeletor variants! And for what? To show toys on the net? To impress people for 5 minutes? Sure, I'll grant some of you are GREAT at making toys. But c'mon. If you want new He-man figures, use the toys in the stores THAT NOBODY wants to customize and let the KIDS have a chance to get figures to, because MOST of the toy sales money comes from mothers and fathers with spoiled brats.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">This was originally posted on the Four Horsemen message boards. I thought it would make an excellent discussion thread.

This guy basically pleads to keep MOTU figures on the pegs for kids, but you know he's just saying it because he can't find Teela. He readily admits that he collects He-Man figures-- if he gave a shit about the kids, he'd leave ALL toys for "the kids," including the ones he collects.

I love when he says that customizers buy every toy in the store, but then says we're ALSO responsible for the decline in figure sales.

Which one is it, asshole?

WHAT DO YOU GUYS & GALS THINK?

I think he is a complete retard honestly, LOL. He doesn't make one valid point. Idiots should have their lips sewn shut, and in this case, fingers lopped off!

I will tell you what killed Masters of the Universe....

-Tons of He-Man and Skeletor varients per case, and all other characters short packed. Nobody wants a fucking Samurai He-Man, not even kids, it makes no sense!

-Craploads of re-paints! Collectors: Wait, I already have this figure, and it was a better paint scheme the first time, screw that! Parents: You already have him!

-Snakemen

I bought like 6 of those "hard to find" Daredevil figures from the last Spider-Man line, because he makes a kick-ass base for customs. If anything, I'm helping the line with sales!

Considering that I've cannibalized more exclusive and hard-to-find figures than alot of people have ever OWNED....

... our CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS allow us to do whatever the hell we please with our toys after we buy them.

The guy needs to suck it up, get on ebay, and pay the extra $3 for the figure he can't find. It's a freakin HE-MAN figure.... they're EVERYWHERE.

Customizers help sell MORE figures... because then other people want a copy of that variant... etc... I have a couple people who want Jackal-King figures... so I have to try and scrounge up some extra Jackal and Scorpion Assasin figures.

I put a little thought into this, and I don't think I have EVER bought a double of a fig to use for a custom...

I did end up with 3 Leatherfaces, but 2 were an ebay lot(one for me, one for wife), and the 3rd came in a lot with Jason and Myers...
I did repaint the 3rd one, but that was not why I got it.

I WILL grab multiples of Mandarin Reborn to repaint, since the 1st one is rather expensive.

and if that douche doesn't like it, he can kiss my ass.

I think customizers all need to be "customized". Eye for an eye I say! Aye-aye!
